Airomir Autohaler is an effective medication for asthma attacks or an episode of breathlessness because of exerting physical activity. It consists of a medication known as salbutamol sulphate, bronchodilator medicine that widens the airways which is critical in the treatment of asthma and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).

Salbutamol belongs to a group of bronchodilators (ß2-adrenergic agonists), a class of medication. It is used to prevent bronchospasm associated with breathing disorders, such as chronic bronchitis, asthma, and others.

Salbutamol is used in the immediate treatment of asthma attacks caused due to physical exercise. It relaxes and opens up the airways for easy breathing.

Salbutamol, the bronchodilator medicine in Airomirdilates the airways and allows air to flow more easily into the lungs, which helps the patient in breathing easily. Salbutamol starts working in just a few minutes, and the effects of the medicine last for up to five hours.

  • Airomir Autohaler or salbutamol autohaler relieves asthma attack symptoms and helps quickly in breathlessness episodes.
  • It can prevent the onset of an asthma attack if taken before intense physical activity.

Each puff of Airomir salbutamol consists of a minimum of 200 puffs, and each puff consists of 100 micrograms of salbutamol. In one dose, patients are recommended one or two puff every four to five hours based on their conditions. In a 24-hour window, the count of puff shouldn’t exceed eight.

If the symptoms persist even after taking a high dose, inform your doctor about the same.
