Seebri breezhaler is an inhaler used for patients who have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It helps keep the airways open when used on a regular basis. This medicine contains the active ingredient glycopyrronium bromide, which is a type of drug that is an antimuscarinic or anticholinergic bronchodilator.

Seebri breezhaler is effective for relieving COPD symptoms when used daily.

Seebri breezhaler blocks the muscarinic receptors inside the lungs, which are found on the muscle that surrounds the airways. The body releases a natural chemical called acetylcholine that acts on these receptors and causes the muscle in the airways to contract and the airways to constrict in size.

When a patient suffers from chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD), the narrowed airways make the breathing process very difficult.

Glycopyrronium blocks the muscarinic receptors in the lungs. As a result, the chemical called acetylcholine can no longer work on them. The muscle around the airways thus relax and the airways gradually open, making it easier for people with COPD to breathe.

The usual dose of Seebri is one capsule of the medicine which is inhaled once a day. It is best to take the daily dose at the same time each day. The effect of the medicine lasts for about 24 hours.

Seebri breezhaler comes with capsules that contain the medicine in powder form. These capsules are to be placed inside the chamber of the inhaler. The inhalation device then pierces the capsule and you can inhale the medicine as a powder. You must not swallow the capsules.

If you skip a dose by mistake, take your next dose at the usual time on the next day. Do not consume a double dose in order to make up for a missed one.
