Piriton is an effective oral medication that helps treat and prevent the symptoms of hay fever and other allergies. It contains an active ingredient called Chlorphenamine. Chlorphenamine is a fast-acting antihistamine that can be taken for quick relief from irritating allergic symptoms like:

  • Sneezing
  • Coughing
  • Runny nose
  • Blocked nose
  • Itchy or watery eyes
  • Itchy mouth, nose, throat, or ears
  • Headache
  • Feeling tired?

These easy to swallow tablets are used for:

  • hay fever
  • red, itchy eyes (conjunctivitis)
  • eczema
  • hives (urticaria) caused by food allergies and chickenpox
  • insect bites and stings

Piriton tablets contain 4mg of the active ingredient chlorphenamine maleate, which is an antihistamine. Antihistamines treat allergies by preventing the action and blocking the natural histamine produced by the body. Histamine is created when the body comes near something it’s sensitive to, such as pollen, or dust and that essentially gives rise to the typical symptoms of an allergy. Piriton works by blocking histamine and preventing the allergy symptoms such as sneezing, coughing, and rashes.

Hay fever and other allergies can eventually affect daily life and make it difficult to venture outdoors. By being prepared with Piriton early on, you can now enjoy your Summers and forget about the hay fever or insect bites allergies.?

Like all other medications, Piriton comes with its own set of instructional facts and aspects that you need to take care of before beginning your treatment. Listed below are the key facts associated with Piriton:
